Kuru Kuru Hoop Earrings
DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
A little Japanese vintage magic with a fabulous sculptural twist! Meet the Kuru Kuru Hoops, featuring authentic vintage Japanese lucite in a bold, rounded silhouette that curls around itself like a tiny spiral shell.
Kuru kuru (くるくる) is a Japanese expression describing something spinning or curling around — the perfect name for these playful, chunky hoops!
Discovered in an East Coast warehouse in a crumpled old bag filled with original "Made in Japan" labels, these rare vintage beauties are estimated to be leftover stock from the 1970s or 1980s. We gave them new life by hand-setting each pair with surgical steel posts in our studio, making them a fabulous choice for sensitive ears.
Available in four gorgeous colors: Cream, Teal, Plum, and Copper.
